Bob Lyons joined Connexions Loyalty as President in 2017 after having served as Affinion Group's Global Chief Operating Officer since February 2014. As President, Bob brings more than 25 years of leadership experience spanning technology, operations, analytics and product management, with a focus on driving loyalty and customer satisfaction for large client organizations. His passion for creating customer value through technology and analytics has resulted in a demonstrated track record of creating strong customer engagement and sustainable growth.
Bob has held executive positions at large technology, customer care, and client engagement companies where he focused on multiple industries including telecommunications, high-tech, healthcare, financial services and business process outsourcing. His client background and broad industry experience enables him to help Connexions deepen our client relationships through customer-first operational excellence supported by technology-enabled innovation.
At Convergys, Bob was responsible for both the technology and operations of the largest customer service delivery operation in the world, where he directly supported world-leading consumer-focused companies. At Avaya, Bob was responsible for leading the customer experience strategy and contact center software business used in more than 74 percent of Fortune 500 companies worldwide. At Stream, Bob led the design and implementation of robust, real-time analytics capabilities used to meaningfully improve customer experience.
Bob earned his master’s degree in management and technology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y., and a bachelor's degree in business management from Moravian College, Bethlehem, PA.
